A nighttime ride to the Art Institute Chicago (that’s us in the center of the street, top middle white light)
Betty’s Response: Are you kidding me?!
No, I’m not and this image also serves as encouragement to all Chicagoans facing a long winter…get out there and SHOW ME WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW! Our amazing Art Institute Chicago stays open on Thursdays until 8pm and from 5-8pm entry is free.
Exhibiting now through January 3, 2016 …
An incredible show featuring art works inspired by the Hindu faith, Pushtimarg. Paintings and woven textile hangings or pichvais depict the community’s devotion to Shrinathji, the divine image of Hindu god Krishna.
Ok! Betty and I are off on our next quest but once more encouraging all to explore, look for art and artistic expression EVERYWHERE and last of all SHOW ME WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW!
