Inhibition: When hunting down photo booths be open to the experiences along the way.
Betty’s Response: Thank you.
Experience: This week’s photo booth quest met with 2 rejections. Melvin B’s on 1114 N. State Street and Shenanigan’s House of Beers, 16 W. Division, no longer host photo booths. However, the very nice door man at Shenanigan’s pointed me in the direction of The Original Mother’s at 26 W. Division for this week’s snap. My journey also led me to the Chicago Turkish Festival that took place September 4-6th at Pioneer Court, 401 N. Michigan Ave.

Beautiful handmade ceramics by Omurlu Ceramic, http://www.omurlu.com. Ozay Aksungur and his family have made ceramics since 1807.
What I didn’t Know: How much fun it would be trying to locate these photo booths. And although Mother’s wasn’t really my thing there were lots of folks enjoying pool, club music, and libations.
I also didn’t know how much fun the Turkish festival would be. A big congratulations and thank you to the Faith YILDIZ Consul General of Turkey in Chicago, the artists, performers, and exhibitors for a very well organized and memorable event.
And last to my mother, thank you for taking all the pictures. Selfies only take in so much 🙂 and as always thank you for being so much fun.
So Betty and I are out for now but extending to you a great big invitation to get out there and SHOW ME WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW!!!!
