This week Betty and I had a most wonderful adventure to a magical place called Northerly Island!

Originally Meigs Field Airport, the 91-acre peninsula is now a part of the Museum Campus (just right of the Planitarium).
Dark and moody clouds, warm breezes, and rolling pathways introduced us to this surprise…
Betty’s Response: Whoa!
I couldn’t agree more even after getting totally drenched on our ride back to the city. Next, a visit to the Japanese Cultural Center for an open house event for a glimpse at Japanese swordsmanship, the creation of creatures, and evidence of Japanese Calligrapher, Chiba Seiran.
Wow! A great week of adventure and discovery fuels our passion to once again be on our way for the next ride. However, before we go we’re first extending to you a great big invitation to get out there, discover new places and ideas, look for art and artistic expression EVERYWHERE and best of all, SHOW ME WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW!!!!
…one more thing, don’t forget to have fun along the way!
