This week Betty and I headed over to Neon Shop Fishtail for a look at some super neon craftwork. Since 1986 Tom Brickler and his small crew have been repairing and creating electric joy from three simple components…glass, gas and high voltage!

The back room workshop gives all visitors an opportunity to be neon too 🙂

Alright so Betty and I are out (and saving our $$ for Betty’s fixation) but before we go we’re extending to you the invite to get out there and SHOW ME WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW!! WOO! And one more thing…

An assemblage by my 8 year old niece. Paper towels anyone?!

-The residual purpose of art is purposeless play. This play however, is an affirmation of life–Not an attempt to bring order out of chaos nor to suggest improvements in creation, but simply a way of waking up to the very life we’re living, which is so excellent once one gets one’s mind and one’s desires out of its way and lets it act of its own accord. -John Cage
