Inhibition: Sometimes crowds make me super anxious.

Betty’s Response: Everyone’s laughing (and not at you)…I think you’ll pull through.

Experience: Let me first begin by saying Betty stayed home this Thursday evening. Although the temperature was so much warmer than the last six weeks, a balmy 39 degrees, the rain and WIND made it impossible to ride in. Still, thanks to Betty I gave this experience a go.

This week, the Laugh Factory! Four comedians, $9 bucks (through the group, Meetup.com), delicious cocktails, and a whole lotta laughing! Let me also say that each comedian was fantastic even though my favorite was Megan Galley. Coupled with theatrics that drove the idea home and spot on delivery, her material was unique and hilarious. Jeff Arcuri’s stand up was also very funny and he did an awesome job as emcee.

What I didn’t know: That although initially feeling uncomfortable, when seated in a crowded stage-front area, the laughter and fun that was shared with a like-minded community not only helped to ease my discomfort but made for a very enjoyable evening!
